Tonight as I sang songs with my son, Q, before his bedtime he began talking about wanting to move back to Houston (we just moved from Houston to Portland in May of 2017). As I listened, he reminisced about the people and places he misses, not knowing that Hurricane Harvey had just hit our beloved city. We prayed for Houston that night and then I wrote and recorded this song. The city and people of Houston mean so much to my family. Our hearts go out to Houston and all of its people. Know that our thoughts, prayers, and friendship are with you.
